Alternative(s) to Project Petaling Street?

This post is a followup to the post – Project Petaling Street in Decline?

I was (and still) wondering if there is any alternative to Project Petaling Street .

I suppose the first thing to do is ask the question what is PPS and what are the functions of PPS.

Someone one in this post – Sad decline of PPS – which is written by Politics 101 Malaysia said that PPS is an “institution”.

I wonder what does that mean? Anyway, I also wonder if there is any alternative to Project Petaling Street.
