I agree with Malayamuda! What the hell are you mumbling about Mahagraha - being a rapist is not natural and that is a heinous crime, alright! Yes, if the men can control and restrain their bastardly lust and mind; they might stop looking at women as pure sexual objects and have genuine respect for women instead! Plus, we're talking about sexual crimes here, not normal sexuality! That's why, my argument about religion is that without deep inner consciousness that includes restraining oneself and soul together from being immoral like having heinous tendencies like sexual crimes, is no point! You can be of any religion but without such inner consciousness within oneself, then rules and laws in religion won't work! So Malayamuda is right! Individuals are connected to the social world; hence such moral and social responsibility is also important; must be balanced! A human being do not live alone on an island but amongst society! And that include in not simply following such bastardly lust and committing such heinous crimes towards other fellow human beings, including women, alright!

Dear Malayamuda, the suggestion to learn to control the mind is actually another form of moralising. As I said before, if all people moralise, then there will be mo solution as what is right or wromg depemds on the value and belief system rather than what is actually happening.

Controlling the mind does not work as it is human nature to be sexual no matter how conservative society is. In fact I might say that in conservative societies, the problem of sexual repression may lead to other problems...

Dear Noor Aza Othman, I suppose the problem lies with the lack of "awareness" (kesedaran) amongst women esp Malay women of their rights. This lack of "awareness" is also prevalent amongst males too. I suppose you have to blame the school system for not producing "critically" thinking students.

Unfortunately the problem of sexual repression is so deeply rooted in Malaysian society. I know this when I was talking to some Malay friends about the prevalence of Malay youths canoodling (or making it out in public parks - ofcourse in secluded areas). So my friends kept saying that such things are forbidden, however, they can't seem to suggest constructive ways to solve the problem other than saying that such a thing is forbidden.

As usual, the Taliban/Al-Qaeda fanatical way of thinking which seems to have spread among the once liberal and rational Malay/Islamic civilization in Malaysia (remember the great P. Ramlee movies, or the liberal Indonesian movies?) blame the women for their perverted bastardly lust! Whilst they want the women to cover up publicly, they might have an orgasm over some pornographic cheapshots privately! But if “their women” who are treated like chattels dare to oppose their sadist fantasy of how their chattels/cows more like it, should behave, walk, talk and think, the women might just get bashed, raped and murdered like in the widespread legitimized “honor killings”! These bastard beastly men can’t control their lust; so hey presto, let’s control the women instead! What saddens me is that the women take all this crap and even defend it like those unthinking critically Malay students. Thus is why, i was shocked to discover that many Malay women, including in veil, defending the bastards who murdered and probably raped unfortunate Altantuya so viciously, just because the criminal police bastards are Malay/Muslim and Altantuya is foreign; doesn’t matter that she’s a woman! And I remember cringing with so much anger and pain of seeing the above Noor Suzaily’s Malay rapist and murderer laughing as if he couldn’t give a damn at all about such evil act, and yet he was supported so loyally and lovingly by his few veiled wives at court! Besides, such Taliban/Al-Qaeda way of thinking only make the men have increasing less respect for women; and suppressed sexually and hence, also contribute towards the increase sexual crime rate by Malay/Muslim boys and men. Do we hear of such vicious crime and increase crime rate during P. Ramlee times when Malay women wear the most sexy clothes including in sexy kebayas and miniskirts? Do we hear of widespread rape and murder of sexy women then? Instead of seeing themselves as the problem; for this Taliban/Al-Qaeda kind of men and women, it’s the women who are seen as the “evil seducer”!

all these cosmatic changes are only temporary. The mind is still corrupted and thinks of sex. These kind of minds can undress a woman even she has the thickest dress or longest tudung.

So learn to control the mind.
